Students develop new skills through a combination of explicit instruction and opportunities to apply the learning in engaging situations. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is no different. To develop The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) SEL competencies, students require instruction, practice, and meaningful feedback. SEL skills are the basis for all academic learning because SEL competencies are prerequisite skills for reading comprehension.

Our SEL Network provides evidence-based workshops aligned to CASEL standards. Your district and campus level teams will have the opportunity to learn how to infuse the five core CASEL SEL competencies across the curriculum.

These CASEL SEL competencies are: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision making, and relationship skills.

Each session will highlight one area of SEL competency through highly engaging strategies. All five sessions for a team of 10 professionals and four on site visits are available for one discounted yearly cost.
