Students served in bilingual, dual language, and ESL programs need additional support throughout their academic journey. Region 13’s Multilingual Cooperative provides member districts with deeply discounted services all aimed at improving the quality of instruction provided to this key group of students.
When districts join Region 13’s Multilingual Coop, our multilingual specialists will work with your district to develop and implement programs that meet state and federal requirements while supporting enhanced instruction. This includes technical assistance and data analysis, program evaluation and audits, workshops, instructional coaching, face-to-face and virtual workshops, certification test preparation, conference and distinguished speaker events, and more.
Options
Option 1 - $10,000
- Up to five participants per district for each Bilingual or ESL professional development offering presented by the Multilingual department at the ESC, including: Best Practices for TELPAS Participation Series,Coaching in the Multilingual Classroom, CBLI, ELPS Toolkit
*100% off up to 5, after that full price
- Three participants may register for CIMA, ESL Academy, or Biliteracy Inst. at a reduced rate of 50% (full price after 3)
*ESL TOT and Lift-Off Trainings are not included in the COOP
- Two days of technical assistance
- Per agreement: Program review, program design and development, LPAC Support/guidance, Data analysis, and folder audit
- One day of onsite professional development (up to 25 participants, see ESC offerings)
- Instructional Coaching at a reduced rate
- 13% off for minimum of 5 days
Note: coaching contracts of more than 6 days subject to staff availability and Multilingual Coordinator approval
- Two seats for all Multilingual Directors Meetings
- Two seats for all online LPAC Trainings
Option 2 - $20,000
