Classroom To Career
As a joint effort between ESC Region 13, Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT), and ACU, the Classroom to Career program meets the needs of your district’s students. Connecting driven students with mentoring faculty members, the Classroom to Career Teaching Track offers students the opportunity to pursue a career in education, become certified teachers, and enter your talent pool of qualified teaching aids upon high school graduation. Capability to become paraprofessionals by the time of high school graduation.
Earn a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood through Grad 6 certification after the AA in Teaching from LIT.
Certification is via ACU’s Educator Preparation Program.
Exclusive cohort and up to a $2,400 scholarship for ESC Region 13 paraprofessionals.
For Motivated Paraprofessionals
Level up with a B.S. in Integrated Studies
As a joint effort between ESC Region 13, Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT), and ACU, dedicated to improving the quality of teachers your school should have, the Level Up program provides paraprofessionals in your school district an opportunity to earn their Texas teacher certification through enrollment in the ACU’s Online Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies program during their co-enrollment in ESC Region 13’s Educator Certificate Program. Aimed at helping paraprofessionals connect their goals with their strengths, the Level Up program goes beyond the role of taking online classes individually and offers individual mentorship to expand their own learning and teaching experience.
Earn a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies with a concentration in Psychology and Communication (60 credit hours) in as little as two years.
Complete the ESC Region 13’s Educator Certification Program (ECP) and become a Certified Texas Teacher.
For Driven Educators
Advancing Teachers with a Master of Education in Instruction and Learning
Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the M.Ed. in Instruction and Learning consists of 30 credit hours with a completed timeframe between 18-20 months. Depending on standing and affiliations, students may also be expected to complete additional courses to fulfill specific requirements.
ACU’s M.Ed. in Instruction and Learning program produces the next generation of instructors well-versed in classroom practices and influenced by Christian values. This new generation is dedicated to constantly improving their teaching strategies, impacting their districts, and continuing on a professional journey to become long-lasting change makers.

Participants will earn a Master of Education in Instruction and Learning through ACU Online, with 18-credit hours dedicated to a specific academic area.*
Graduates will meet SACSCOC requirements to become eligible to teach academic dual-credit for partnering post-secondary institutions.
*Additional subject areas will be added as the program grows.
Participating Region 13 educators can be awarded up to $1,950 in scholarship.

Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, ED.D.
Recognized as one of the best online Ed.D. programs in the country by Fortune, ACU’s online Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership builds scholar-practitioners into tomorrow’s leaders by training today’s district administrators. Focused on enhancing your district admins’ gifts and talents through reflective practice, this program seeks to guide individuals toward finding the meaning and purpose behind their work.
