Data-Driven Instruction (DDI) is a highly effective, research-based training guiding district and campus leaders to conduct effective data meetings with their campus teams. DDI is recommended for Year 2 of Texas Instructional Leadership (TIL) training.
TIL Implementation requires campus and district leads. Please reach out to those leads if you’re in a different role.
How Does Data-Driven Instruction Work?
As part of TIL, DDI offers three pillars of support: face-to-face professional development, implementation support, and coaching. ESC Region 13’s TIL team supports principal supervisors and principals in developing their skills and abilities to conduct effective data meetings focused on the TEKS and hone in on specific gaps in student learning using common, TEKS-aligned formative assessments. Leaders learn how to coach teachers to unpack the standards, name the bite-size steps that lead to student growth, and actually practice planning to ensure an effective reteach.
