Our experienced education specialist for the deaf and hard of hearing offers a contract evaluation service for communication assessments to help districts through the special education evaluation for a student who is DHH.
This assessment provides information to the campus or district Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee to determine the degree of impact hearing loss has on the student's ability to access information and communicate effectively.
We work with campuses and districts to provide a thorough communication assessment and develop a report which includes: student observations, a performance review, auditory skills, phonological awareness, language processing, pragmatic language, and self-advocacy.
