Utilizing the Pre-K guidelines as our learning targets, teachers will participate in a year-long cohort to learn developmentally appropriate practice for young children. We will meet for 5 days of early childhood professional development throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
In order to provide safe, and relevant professional learning, our Pre-K cohort will meet virtually this year. We will follow a blended learning model. Teachers will have a week to complete two hours of asynchronous learning. Then they will attend a synchronous zoom training session for an hour and a half. Following our session they will be given a two hour asynchronous reflection assignment to be submitted for feedback.
Registration is open to individual participants, or through District contract. Contract participants please contact your District coordinator for registration information and code.
