This meaningful 1-hour virtual workshop focuses on the human side of McKinney-Vento support by exploring awareness, relationship-building, and trauma-informed practices. Participants will learn how to create safe, welcoming interactions for students and families experiencing homelessness while strengthening sensitivity, empathy, and trust during the intake and identification process. The session will provide practical communication strategies and techniques for reducing stigma and barriers to support.
