Connecting Leaders of Low Incidence Disabilities

Are you a central office Special Education Administrator looking to connect with others who share your role and challenges? Look no further! Our quarterly meeting series is specifically designed to bring together "same job" peers and Education Service Center staff to connect, learn, and share.

At these meetings, you'll have the opportunity to exchange ideas, collaborate, and receive professional development tailored to the needs of the network members. We will also provide resources and best practices for working with students with low incidence disabilities and complex access needs, along with updates from the Texas Education Agency.

But the most important part? The information shared in these meetings is meant for you to take back and share with the educational staff in your Local Education Agency (LEA).

What to Expect

At each meeting, you'll:

  • Exchange Ideas: Engage in meaningful discussions with peers who share your role and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate: Work together to solve challenges and implement effective strategies for supporting students with low incidence disabilities.
  • Receive Targeted Professional Development: Access training and resources tailored to the specific needs of our network members.
  • Stay Informed: Get the latest updates from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

Additionally, the meetings will focus on:

  • Sharing best practices for working with students with complex access needs.
  • Equipping you with resources to empower your Local Education Agency (LEA).
