Aligning IEPs with Daily Instruction

  • Austin (Main Campus)

Join us for the first session of the Blueprints for Success: LID Learning Series, an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to extend learning from the Texas SPED Support Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities online module series. This session bridges online pre-work with real-world classroom application, ensuring participants walk away with strategies that make an immediate impact.

What to Expect

In this session, we’ll dive into how to use vertical alignment tools to identify prerequisite access points to the standards. These access points serve as the foundation for developing student-centered IEPs and meaningful daily instruction for learners with complex access needs.

    How It Works

To maximize your learning, you’ll complete short online modules before each session. You can:

    1. Complete the pre-work module on your own time before the session
    2. Join an optional 1-hour dedicated work time before the session to complete the pre-work module with support.
