Session: Ramping up your AI curiosity
Artificial Intelligence is going to be an increasingly important part of our lives and those of our students. As educators, we must learn more about how AI is used and to find ways to incorporate it more clearly into our teaching. Only by setting an example of how to be an effective thinker in the age of AI can we help our students to step into the future. In this talk, I review the concerns that educators have expressed about AI and how it can hamper student learning. Then, I explore ways to learn additional AI skills that can help to bring an ethically responsible approach to AI into teaching to create great student experiences and enhance your experience as educators.
